What's Going On?
A lot of the folks taking the Create Your Own Royalties course have had lessons go missing or have simply had their subscription stop without warning.
So I've change the format for the course: When I get this site finished, you'll be able to download your lesson once a week in PDF format through the membership area. I'm still getting things set up.
But the Royalties course will remain free, and membership will be free.

About the Site
I set this site up to teach people who write (and would like to write full time, or who already do but who are having a hard time making ends meet) how to use the Internet to create the sort of income that having a backlist of novels on the shelves used to offer.
Writing (especially writing fiction) is a tough way to make money, and even tougher if you're working a regular job at the same time.
I make decent money as a novelist---theoretically enough to live on. The problem is that publishers pay late, editors switch houses, and other disasters happen, and even if you've got more than thirty novels out there, you can't count on royalty income on your backlist anymore, you can't count on an editor saying, "We're doing your next book in hardcover, and we have a great promotion budget set aside."
If you count on those things, sooner or later they'll crash and burn on you and your credit will tank while you dig your way out of the mess.
You can count on you. So learn how to build for yourself a steady, reliable income that comes in on its own while you stay home to write. You might only need to supplement a spouse's or partner's income; you might need to be bringing in the whole enchilada. Either way, it's doable. I'll show you how.
